Filming Workflow

The filming workflow should make each walk feel immersive, calm and grounded in the actual location.

Before Filming

• Choose a city, district, street, route or atmosphere theme.
• Check weather, daylight and transport options.
• Note likely highlights such as old streets, stations, viewpoints, canals, cafes or evening lights.
• Charge batteries and prepare storage.
• Clean lens and check stabilization.

During Filming

• Walk at a natural pace.
• Avoid sudden camera movement.
• Let the city breathe without rushing from landmark to landmark.
• Capture environmental audio clearly.
• Keep long uninterrupted sections when possible.
• Avoid filming private moments too closely.

After Filming

• Back up footage immediately.
• Create a folder named by date, country, city and route.
• Mark strong moments for thumbnails and shorts.
• Write a short route note while the memory is fresh.
