Filming Workflow
The filming workflow should make each walk feel immersive, calm and grounded in the actual location.
Before Filming
- Choose a city, district, street, route or atmosphere theme.
- Check weather, daylight and transport options.
- Note likely highlights such as old streets, stations, viewpoints, canals, cafes or evening lights.
- Charge batteries and prepare storage.
- Clean lens and check stabilization.
During Filming
- Walk at a natural pace.
- Avoid sudden camera movement.
- Let the city breathe without rushing from landmark to landmark.
- Capture environmental audio clearly.
- Keep long uninterrupted sections when possible.
- Avoid filming private moments too closely.
After Filming
- Back up footage immediately.
- Create a folder named by date, country, city and route.
- Mark strong moments for thumbnails and shorts.
- Write a short route note while the memory is fresh.
